Republican presidential candidate and former Texas Governor Rick Perry declared that fellow presidential candidate Donald Trump “would be more comfortable with Hillary Clinton than he is running for the Republicans” on Wednesday’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on the Fox News Channel.
Perry, after after saying that Trump’s statements have been “out of the realm of the appropriate,” stated, “this country is begging for a leader that will bring this country together, not a divider. We’ve had a divider for the last 6 1/2 years. And Americans are looking for somebody to bring this country together. And that incendiary rhetoric that you hear out of Donald Trump, whether at it’s the immigrant population in this country or whether it’s our veterans, that’s just — that’s unacceptab

I really liked Rick Perry at one time. How times change.

He’s certainly not a conservative in any way I can think of…..
Perry is hopeless.
They think they still live in the (political) world that existed pre-Trump.

Instead of yakking so much about Donald Trump, why don’t these guys talk about all the terrible things that are happening in the world and how they intend to confront them? What’s their plan?

Summary: this statement says a lot more about Perry, than it does abount Trump.
