My daughter who was 8 on 9/11/01 can remember those days. She didn’t have any young jihadists in her class though. She had a bunch of military children around though.
My husband remembers the day the Marine barracks in Lebanon were blown up. He was in college, and the Muslims were gleeful/joyful. He has never forgotten that.
