But, where is there a worldwide constitutional right to immigrate to America? We should be able to pick and choose who comes here and who is not allowed to be here.
It seems clear that Islam is at odds with western style open societies and a a constitutional republic such as ours. Islam is incompatible with the parliamentary democracies of Europe.
Since the values of Islam are so counter to the values of our society, we should simply ban Muslim immigration.
There is no constitutional right for people outside this country to immigrate to America. Yet we act as if nothing can be done. The liberals talk of comprehensive immigration reform. Which would only ingrain the status quo.
I didn’t bother to do more than skim the article. Daniel is right, of course; he’s always right. But if the powers that be were truly interested in preventing terrorism, the family would have been deported in 2001. Didn’t happen then; less likely to happen now. All we can do is arm ourselves and be vigilant.
We have not learned this. We have learned that his wife made these allegations in divorce court.

Absolutely right. We need to severely restrict both legal and illegal immigration, and kick out those here illegally. Ban birthright citizenship, tourism citizenship, and investigate the legitimacy of “marriages” between Americans and foreign nationals, etc. I personally know people who have gamed the system, married someone from overseas to get them into USA, others have offered $$$ to stay here, or arranged marriages with Americans in order to stay. We already have over 300 million people, the metro areas are bursting at their seams, which causes all kinds of collateral problems.
Don’t mend it, end it. Only a select few should be allowed to enter. No more “refugees” nor more chain immigration. Enough.

The contrast to how the racist criminal in Charleston was handled is instructive. No effort was made to figure out if his beliefs had any grounding in logic or fact.
Why did he hate blacks? Nobody cared. Just destroy any symbol we can connect to him, however remotely.
Can the US strip a naturalized citizen of their citizenship and deport them?
