What happened to the huge mice population that was swarming the Australian countryside some years ago? I remember seeing photos of mice by the thousands running around some farm or station in the outback. Couldn’t all the cats be used to kill the mice...if they’re still around?

Australia periodically gets inundated with rats in their crop fields. There was something dated 2007 in a google search that proclaimed mouse and rat infestations of “Biblical proportions”.

I remember that. There were so many mice, the cats finally just sat back and watched them.
