So you’re going to prop the product of Clinton Inc?

Ross Perot was there for Bill in order to defeat Bush.

Hillary Clinton will have Donald Trump. A huge distraction piece that has donated to the Clintons and the DNC.

So I’m withholding my support for Trump in hopes that Scott Walker isn’t doing his bid for a leap in speaking bits or a book deal.

Mssr. Bachert, for your consideration.

Slaves coming to market from “The Dark Continent” were termed “Negroes”. (We can determine the source of “Darkie” at a later date).

The Creole word is pronounced ^loosely^ “Neg-Rah” or “Neeg-rah” which became “Neegraz” (easier on the palate, in the plural).

This, throughout the South then became “Niggraz”
And, post-CWI we have “Niggaz” and “Niggers”

It is a simple degeneration of the American language and word.

I'm iffy, maybe even negative, for Trump as a candidate.

HOWEVER

I am 100% for Trump as a spokesperson.

I think you have been a bit unfair to Lincoln. I believe his depression resulted from the untimely death of his son. Also, he hardly started a war. Any president in office at the time of the seccesion would have moved to prevent it.

Why would I support Trump when we have a barn fill of actual conservatives candidates running, granted none are perfect, but at least are conservatives and some are even think the Constitution should be the law of the land...?

Walker
Cruz
Jindal
Carly Fiorina
Marco Rubio

A corruption of the word referring to the area near the NIGER River in Africa

"Niger" is Latin for "black" or "dark," it's not even a term from an African language. Acts 13:1 refers to a Simeon whose nickname, or "street name" in common parlance, was Niger: maybe he was a black man, maybe his skin was darker than most, but it evidently wasn't meant as a slur, any more than all the other "street names" in the NT, such as "Barnabas" or "Barsabbas" or for that matter Peter.

Your etymology about a racial slur is incorrect. At least it’s at variance with commonly accepted theories.

Appreciate your post, Dick. Although Mr. Trump is voicing the whispers of many - and should continue to express himself, despite perceived “political incorrectness” - I do not think he is a viable, in-for-the-long-haul candidate. I think he is a “pot-stirrer,” IMHO, someone who purposely raises issues/makes statements to create commotion for a reason. At minimum, there is debate! Hopefully, he is bulldozing debris from the path and paving way for the better candidate.
