Good news.
Way ahead of the loudmouth.
Looking at Pataki’s numbers, it looks as though he actually scored a negative number. How do you get below 0?
The wimp is ahead of the loudmouth, is what you are saying. Walker has disappointed me, and I don’t trust him. Since when have evangelicals in Iowa decided the election in IA? It always goes Democrat anyway in the general election.
Maybe if people actively volunteer that they plan to vote against him?
;-)
Looks nice. But if he doesn’t have several people in all 99 counties and enthusiastic volunteers, it means Jack Squat.
If Trump isn't nominated on the GOP ticket, he doesn't deny a run as an indie.
Lates poll shows Walker leading Iowa Poll by 22% for first choice and 13% for 2nd choice.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this wisconsin interest ping list.
Yes, when you are pulling in crowds like 100 at the diner its not exactly yuge. :-)
Not much to brag about the Iowa Caucus is notorious for picking losers, in the entire history of the caucus they only picked one winner G.W. Bush in 2000.
Walker isn’t my first choice, but it is silly to call him a wimp. In the political arena, he has faced and fought off more adversity than anyone else in the race on either side.
In the national election, it is all about winning enough electoral college votes to win the presidency.
In the primaries and caucuses it is all about winning enough delegates. In that sense, IA is important. All the 50 states plus all of the territories which send voting delegates to the convention are important.
Even here in solid blue CA where I live, my vote doesn’t count very much in the general election, but it still matters in the primary.
Remind us again who they picked for 2008 and 2012...
2008... Mike Huckabee
2012... Rick Santorum
It doesn’t take much time to inform yourself, it is very simple to find, and you will be wiser for the effort.
Honestly it would not shock me if Walker did win Iowa. If Iowa was a bellweather we would have had Huck in 2008 and Santorum in 2012. If Trump came in 2nd in Iowa that would be pretty good.

I was a spear carrier in two presidential campaigns in Iowa and volunteered at a party headquarters for many years. No one wins Iowa without a ground game. No one.
