Gov. Walker pumps gas into the RV after a long day of campaigning.

Just think what Cruzs numbers would be if Rove hadnt hired Gomer and Sweater Vest to run against him.
I am a Cruz supporter, but that doesn't mean that I believe that Rove hired Santorum or Huckabee. Noth were runners-up in previous races, and were able to convince themselves that it's their turn. AT very least they could audition for VP or a cabinet post in exchange for sdupporting the eventual nominee.
Much as I support Cruz, he has to get ahead of candidates like Ben Carson before we worry about the Huckster and Santorum. Cruz has a great social issues record, and has tried hard to have it noticed, making religious freedom a front burner issue. For whateevr reason, he has not caught the imagination of the Iowa voters . . . yet.
I do hope that Carson's, Santorum's, and Huckabee's voters find a new (not John Ellis Buish) home before the cauci. Impugning the motives of the candidates will not win those voters over.

Its Iowa, neighbor of Wisconsin, he ought to be in the lead. Trump being 2nd in Iowa still speaks to the frustration being felt by voters and the lack of trust (lets call it suspicion) in the other candidates, including Walker.
While one corner of Iowa is close to one corner of Wisconsin, the states are culturally different. Iowa is pure farm country, and Wisconsin is characterized by heavy industry (Harley Davidson, Kohler small engines, etc.) as much as it is by dairy production. Des Moines and Cedar Rapids are VERY different than Milwaukee and Madison.
This is not the same as Kansan Bob Dole going in there and cleaning up just for being from a pure farm state. Pawlenty in Minnesota was even closer to most of Iowa, and he sure couldn't translate it into Iowa support.

Just follow me around the board. You can be my back-up when I tell them to, ‘P*ss Off’ on a daily basis, LOL!

Agreed. Walker’s somewhat doofish looks will almost certainly cause the left to underestimate him, just as they underestimated Reagan because he was just an aging former movie actor.

He has issues, but I’d vote for him. He’s stood strong in his terms as governor!

>>The TRUTH is, McCain is and was a sellout. <<
The truth is that Trump’s comment was about POW’s generally as well as about McCain. You don’t go around stating that essentially POW’s are losers and you’d rather stick with the winners who didn’t get captured, which is exactly what Trump did. He deserves condemnation not only from the entire GOP field, but from anyone supporting our military. He was way, way, out of bounds. Governor Perry’s comment calling for him to leave the race was the closest to being on the mark.
Some people seem unable to see that, possibly due to their justified disgust with many of McCain’s political stances.

I thought you’d like that. D’ya think we’ll ever see Hillary pumping gas into Scooby?
To: Georgia Girl 2
Well you might be right that Hillary will win, but it would not be because Walker is not a good speaker. It would be because America has finally decided that having a President who will do the job is not wanted and would rather have a person who just speaks in platitudes. After 8 years of a talker, I suppose having another Senator become President who talks (whether republican or democrat) is no big deal.

(Walker for President 2016. The only candidate with actual real RESULTS!!!!! The rest...talkers!)
To: napscoordinator
No Walker won’t win because Walker is a mealy mouth who does not have the guts to call her sad and pathetic and blast her about her illegal emails and generally trash her night and day as Trump does. That is the only way to defeat someone like Hillary.

I’m sorry, but I consider you’re dead wrong. NOTHING Trump said was derogatory in any way to POW’s (generally)or to the countless thousands who fought tour after tour and never even got a thank you from America. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are taking Trump’s words Entirely out of context.
