It may comme to pass that you are right. Obamacare will create a large class of people with nothing left to lose. If you are 79 and denied an effective cancer treatment because of your age, you may be looking for someone who was responsible to take with you.

Since they are the political party that supports gun control, why not suggest that membership registration with the Democrats means that they reject private gun ownership, so have to turn in their guns?
It would be fairly easy to carry out. The state parties just give a simple poll to their members with just two questions:
1) Do you own guns?
2) Do you believe that government should regulate guns?
If they answer “yes” to both questions, then party employees should go to their homes, ask them to surrender their guns and ammunition, which will then be dropped off with their local police department, for resale or disposal, depending on local policy.
Once this is done, then their names would be put on the “do not sell guns to these people” list.
It would finally give them what they want, without imposing on the rights of any other citizen.
Take away the guns of an old person so the young thugs can kill, rape and rob them without a worry.
Because old people home alone are a danger to society should they shoot someone breaking into their homes
I must not be paying attention. Exactly how many old geezers have gone postal at the local Social Security Office? Who would think that would have made the news, attacking a liberal shrine like that.

Every special interest group in the country are in the streets whining about stupid things and getting what they want, We The People need to learn how to be a squeaky wheel and it is in the streets where everyone hears and responds to demands, We the people have a righteous morale demand; only we can restore our Constitutional Free Republic... again we FAIL!
Congress would have to approve that, wouldn’t they? Another reason to throw out those in there as soon as possible.
