Quite different than everyone acts like. “maybe he is a hero, but he said a lot of bad things about a lot of people”.

And besides, McCain is not a hero. He has undermined and betrayed the investigation into POWs left behind in Vietnam and Laos.
He alone used his POW status to betray the hundreds left behind. He used that status as a credibility tool.

Did anybody ever consider the fact that he is a war hero because he went on a dangerous mission and even though he was alerted that the enemy was tracking his plane, he completed his mission (dropped all bombs) and was eventually hit by Russian bombs.

Does anyone dispute those facts or that it is heroic?

Well what he went through as a captive is one thing, there’s some question about those POW’s that were left behind he said nothing about.

Trump could say he misspoke, the usual Democrat response to Foot in Mouth Disease and he would still be rebuked.

He could Apologize and Grovel and he would still be rebuked.

He could name one of his Buildings to Honor McCain, and he would still be rebuked.

Don’t think he doesn’t realize this, so he is content with clarifying what he said even though that would never be enough for the People who despise him.

If people believe that Trump doesn’t Respect the Military and its Members after his gaffe, they are just looking for a crack in his Armor to attack. I know Obama doesn’t respect thee Military because he proves it every day.
