Sometimes waiting for Your hand to move seems very hard to do; yet we know that if we are patient, Your promise is to be gracious to us, to have mercy on us, and to exercise justice on our behalf. Precious Lord, may Your Name be exalted each time we call upon You in faith, and may we be blessed as we wait for the manifestation of Your power and will to be received from Your heavenly throne.
Father, we pray that our military men and women will be patient as they wait for Your perfect timing in all things. We pray that our nation would institute changes in security to help them during these treacherous times. Help them to endure that they may increase in their trust in You and that their confidence in Your goodness will soar. For surely You are for them and Your plans for them are wonderful. Guard each and every life and grant them special patience in all that they do. We pray for supernatural endurance for their family members who wait for their safe return home. And Lord, we pray special prayers of comfort, peace, and strength for the families of those lost this past week because of domestic terrorism.
May Your people, Israel be blessed, protected, and shielded from all harm and danger. Father, send wonderful witnesses of Your love to share the Gospel with them, that they may receive their Savior and the full measure of salvation.
We thank You, Father, that those who wait upon You shall renew their strength, mounting up with wings like eagles, running without weariness, and walking without fainting. This is the heritage of those who fear You, Lord. Great is Your faithfulness. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
