That's a problem. As Christians we are allowed to fight back, but where do we draw the line between self-defense and murder? For instance, if I find a way to blow up a mosque with a radical Imam at Friday prayers and kill a bunch of them, am I a terrorist or a soldier for Christ? If I pick off individual male Muslims from ambush is it murder or preemptive self-defense?

That's the problem we face that they do not have to deal with.

The Republican Party USA seems to have experienced a form of dementia in forgetting its anti-racist roots as the Party of Lincoln and gone over to the dark side. How many “Republicans” marched with King or supported the NAACP in the 50’s. Approximately zero. We handed the initiative on human decency to the Democrats.

Yah, I know, what about the dixiecrats. Well, it’s in your face obvious that political parties morph, change and evolve over time and usually away from their founding principles. Black people used to vote 90% for republican candidates up until Teddy Roosevelt. Google it. We handed the Democrats the high ground on the race issue without a whimper of protest.

I’ll never forget my Barry Goldwater YAF (Young Americans for Freedom) fraternity brother, Rick Centner, who in the early 1960’s lectured me on the evils of race miscegination when our frat was the only one to refuse to sign the campus anti-discrimination pledge. Racism somehow later got woven into the fabric of the political force that won our Civil War. And we sit here and carp and moan about liberal control of media, academia and youth culture. Well, there’s no mystery to our loss of the media wars, no “stab in the back”, no trickery or betrayal, we simply f’d up and we’d do well to own it...
