Yep. And few I’ve met treat it as he has. One should also note that even if his conditions weren’t directly harsh after the first few days, he still had to deal with observing what the barbarians did to his peers. But that’s the thing...honor for enduring it, but don’t go treating becoming a POW as an accomplishment, and then using it as a veil against debate.
He’s also not really got a good record of supporting vets in meaningful ways.
