Hot and flat.....I don’t care. Give me back my country......I miss the freedom to have a good health care system, the freedom to associate with whom I want, the freedom to speak my mind without the heavy boot of the law coming down on my head......Texas may be just the place to find refuge.

Yes, for the most part hot and flat...but you will never find friendlier people ... unless you drive east. ;)

I say that as a northerner, from a Chicago suburb . I love the South and briefly lived in Tx.

But Austin doesn’t really count. :)

Kidding, everyone. Been to TX. It's not all hot and flat, some is hilly and darn warm. ;-)

I do like the mountains and snow though. Maybe we can get WV and ID to join.

Better thought, us country folk from the city dwellers.
