11 days ago the brother the media claims is now upset with Trump made a public post thanking Trump.

What are the odds that a family living in a sanctuary city are not libtard sanctuary city lovers? At least til their own gets killed? This guy has now probably gotten a few calls to get his butt back on the plantation and start bashing Trump.
Yeah and I remember that tweet too..so that is why last night seeing him on Anderson Cooper I was surprised to hear him speak out against Trump(But it was with careful coaching from Cooper, everyone in the media finds anyone they can find to trash Trump) I can understand maybe it would have been the right thing to do for Trumps team to call the Steinle family and ask if its OK to use her name in regards to the illegal alien issue, but if he had the media would have called Trump an opportunist for trying to contact the family so either way he loses
Right, but the parents were with Trump anyway. With all due respect to my brother, if I cannot speak for myself I am not authorizing him to speak for me.
More important, I am not authorizing her brother to speak for America. The issue is her murder not what a particular family member thinks.

Really. Why hasn’t he made any comments on the President not speaking up for her? At least Trump is keeping this in the forefront, rather than let it being swept under the rug.
The parents seem to be more anti illegal immigration than the brother..he talked more about how the system failed his sister and how this guy should have never been out on the streets to begin with. He didnt even seem familiar with what sanctuary cities are(Said he is not a political person, this was during the Megyn Kelly interview) he also blasted the police chief, saying he acted as if he could care less about his sisters death(That is something the media wont be bringing up) I think with the CNN interview, Cooper was trying really really hard to make this guy slam Trump, I dont think he would have had Cooper not mentioned Trumps name because his entire interview with Megyn Kelly he never once mentioned Trumps name

Firstly, I want to say I wish all of Kate’s family and friends strength and peace during this most dreadful time. I didn’t know Kate, but until recently, I lived an hour east of San Francisco and know the area fairly well. Her unnecessary and horrendous death shocked and saddened me, and I felt compelled to write. I am a ‘legal’ immigrant, from England. I married my husband in 2012, after meeting him during his service in the US Air Force; he retired after 21 years. I travelled many miles to interviews , filled out numerous forms, attended medicals and paid to go through the immigration process; it was the right thing to do, it is the law. It makes me mad that the ‘illegal’ immigrants in the USA (and UK to be honest), receive benefits without contributing and some using the leniency of the country to come in and be a danger to society. I don’t understand why Kate’s killer was not detained and sent back to Mexico, especially with his past record. I hadn’t heard of ‘sanctuary cities’ until this now, and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Well, that is an open invitation to the wrong / bad type of immigrants to come in! These ‘cities’ should no longer exist and all borders closed until we know who is here, who can stay and send home the undesirables. I wish you all the luck in the world in getting Kate’s Law passed through government. This absolutely should never happen to any other family, and I am so saddened that it happened to yours. RIP Kate.

Yes my understanding is that the parents met with Trump. As a presidential candidate he has every right to discuss anything that is in the public domain.

I thought Brad’s statement was a little unfair when I heard it, remembering that Brad had tweeted back to Trump thanking him a few days after his sister’s murder.
Trump’s tweet today was very considerate in my opinion. No criticism of what Brad said.
Very clever move, on Mr. Trump’s part, too.
He can let Anderson Cooper have it, the next time he appears on his show, that is, “if” he ever does.

I say build a massive wall—Israel is doing it with great success.
Let the states patrol it, or, alternatively, have a federal force do it under state supervision.
