JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stepped up his criticism Wednesday of the U.S.-led nuclear deal with Iran, telling CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley that the agreement could lead to war and warning that Israel has a "great and mighty" strength to defend itself.
In an interview with Pelley on Wednesday, Netanyahu said Iran is "the enemy of peace" and the deal - despite the restrictions it places on Tehran's nuclear program - was "legitimizing their path to a future bomb within a few years."
"Don't let them have their yellowcake and eat it too," Netanyahu said, referring to milled uranium oxide, which is the first step toward enriched uranium.
"I don't think this is a partisan issue In Israel," Netanyahu told Pelley. "It shouldn't be a partisan issue in the United States."
Addressing parliament, Netanyahu reiterated that Israel was not be bound by the deal and said Israel would continue to oppose it.
"All the more so, we will reserve our right to defend ourselves against all of our enemies," he said. "We have strength, and it is great and mighty."
"Not everyone has learned the lessons of history. Today, the world powers have fallen in a trap of smiles set by the tyrannical Iranian regime," Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu said he reviewed the deal at night, and that it includes "absurd things." He objected to a clause that requires international inspectors who suspect violations of the deal to give Iran 24 days before inspectors can actually enter the site.
"It's like giving a crime organization that deals in drugs a 24-day notice before checking its drug lab," Netanyahu said.
He also objected to a clause that allows new investors in Iran to continue investments if additional sanctions are imposed on Iran in the future.

Way to Go, Bibi!
Ah yes, yellowcake - reminds me of the time in 2004 when 500 tons of yellowcake was spirited out of Iraq - turns out Saddam had stockpiled it on his way to an attempted nuke - still one more reason why we went into Iraq when we did, because if the theory is true that had we not taken Saddam out then very soon Iran would have, then that yellowcake would have been in Iran’s hands today - of course apologists claim that the UN was guarding the hoard, but no one with any sense believes that UN troops would have lasted any time against Iran, or even against Saddam had he tried to reclaim what he had collected - Iran could well have already had their weapons had we not made the effort in Iraq....

I’m jealous. I want a leader like that!
BTTT Iraqs yellow cake
Obama and the democrats that back him are traitors!
Dearest PM Bibi - prayers for you and Israel.
It sure looks as if Israel, being forced into a corner now, will soon be attacking all the Iranian nuclear sites. And if Israel is unsuccessful in this endeavor - then unfortunately - Israel will have to use their neutron bombs and hydrogen bombs to Knock Out Iran.
What choice does Israel have? It's either Israel does whatever it takes - or Israel risks - being Gone. Do any of us think that Israel will let itself - be Gone? No.
