I personally am for Carly as VP because she is tearing Hilary’s ass off but I think Cruz can be a great Attorney General and that is where this meeting is going. I think Trump’s next move is to rent Cowboy Stadium in Dallas Texas.
“Folks, just because someone says the right things does NOT mean they really mean it or would act on it.”
For example, all Republican candidates in my lifetime and all democratic candidates in my lifetime...
They’re either lame from the time they leave the gate or they go lame quickly when they get to DC. Either way, they are all lame.
Bush is a Wuss.
That is sooo well stated. I am one whom you are referring to in your wonderful post. This country is circling the drain. We need our God back. We need our sovereignty back and we need our wonderful history back and we are going to get it!! Not later— NOW!!
Get a clue. Trump is running as a Republican and he bears no resemblance to Ross Perot. If you don’t like the guy’s politics ie standing up for America then fine. But Donald Trump is a qualified and credible Republican candidate for President.
My best friend’s husband was hot for Walker a few weeks ago and we were kind of like WTF? but after watching Walker’s announcement speech last night she said he was like what was I thinking? They both now like Trump and Cruz as do we.
Lucky you! By the time I arrive on any Trump thread the trolls are already here and staunchly repeating the same tripe they’ve posted on every other Trump thread. They’re beginning to sound like liberals or the GOPe, but I repeat myself.
When (not “if”, but “when”) Mister Trump runs as an Indy, will you vote for Trump (who would get no more electoral votes than Perot, that is zero), or will you vote for the GOPer, and against Hillary?
You obviously can’t handle the truth.
Only a dimwit would believe Trump is honest.
He’s just another blowhard liberal New Yorker.
“They both now like Trump and Cruz as do we.”
As do I. But don’t be too hard on yourselves. Walker fought the unions as hard as any Republican ever has, but it was still local issues. For national issues, it appears that Walker recently discovered that he better act conservative if he wants to be taken seriously in the Primaries. Of course after that, he can ‘moderate’ and ‘compromise’ with the well-meaning opposition - oh well, no one is perfect, except maybe Cruz who appears to NEVER be willing to trust Democrats, no matter what.
I guess we should have known that Walker was not what he appeared to be, given that woman from Southern Ohio that keeps blasting out articles for him. She did it for Perry in 2012 and wound up looking like an absolute fool when Perry imploded.
Trump has said repeatedly he will only run as a Republican. I imagine he deliberately left that third party question hanging the other day because donor Jim Jordan has started a campaign to keep Trump out of the debates and they also sent Rience to try to put a lid on hime. That’s probably Trump’s way of saying don’t try it. He’s way too smart to go third party. Its a no win. And why should he? He’s leading in all the polls.
“As do I. But dont be too hard on yourselves”
I spotted Walker as an establishment nothing burger right off the bat. I have never believed he was a conservative. He’s Mitt Romney all over again except with bad hair and no money. The only thing that surprised me was that he polled as well as he did. I think that has peaked.
Funny, I’d bet you’d understand if anyone else had a change in philosophy as they age, but not Trump, huh?
Trump is pro-socialized medicine. His “pro-life” position is a bad joke. He is not our friend on the homosexual agenda. That’s for starters. All disqualifying.
Yea, he’s peaked. He was a lot like Perry - seemed good as a state leader, but once you scraped down a bit, it got REALLY UGLY, REALLY FAST. In Walker’s case, he (privately) promised the Big Money people to support Amnesty...then said publicly that he was against Amnesty.
A number of other things too. I never liked Walker more than Cruz, but I had respected him as my second pick - not so sure now - I don’t really have a second pick, even with the huge field - they all seems to have serious problems.
Actually, Mister Trump (Dem suddenly turned GOPer) has left the indy door wide open. He says words to the effect that he will not consider running as an independent..."at this time".
"At this time" is politics for he absolutely plans to run as an indy (one suspects).
.
Not if you’re talking about them behind their back.
When Trump runs as an indy, will you vote for him (even though it's a certain loss), or will you vote for a GOPer?
IMO The only two candidates who have a chance to win the general election are Trump and Cruz. Anybody else and you need to start saying President Clinton.
Like I said its a warning to the RNC and their big money donors to back off. And a fairly smart move. There is no way Trump is going to waste a bunch of money especially his own money running on a third party losing ticket.
