Wonderful piece....and this is what leftist do....they infiltrate formerly conservative organizations and turn those institutions to the left.

We’’re seeing it in the Catholic Church....where it’s been going on for a long time...as well as in the Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian denominations and others. Even in Joel Osteen’s church.

Maybe the organized church is not the future of “the church” - as in the body of Christ.

Have you read Rerum Novarum: On Capital and Labor by Pope Leo XIII? It's very interesting. I recommend it. In the opening paragraphs we find:

Hence, by degrees it has come to pass that working men have been surrendered, isolated and helpless, to the hard heartedness of employers and the greed of unchecked competition. The mischief has been increased by rapacious usury, which, although more than once condemned by the Church, is nevertheless, under a different guise, but with like injustice, still practiced by covetous and grasping men. To this must be added that the hiring of labor and the conduct of trade are concentrated in the hands of comparatively few; so that a small number of very rich men have been able to lay upon the teeming masses of the laboring poor a yoke little better than that of slavery itself.

It would seem the word ‘maybe’ is unnecessary in your statement...

...I have been telling my fellow Catholics (modernist drones, most of them...sorry, that’s what they are) that this lunatic is merely the precursor to an even more leftist regime that will send the RCC into theological oblivion...I know that prospect warms the cockles of many on this website, but nonetheless, I believe it to be true.

the Church of the 1960’s gave us homosexual seminaries, that gave us pervert clerics who amused themselves with teenage boys, along with their criminal bosses...that filth, far worse than influence peddling and corrupt politicking of the past, has rotted the Church beyond repair, and there need only be the leftist thrust spearheaded by this current idiot to complete the job...

Without the organized church, we all tend to do what is right in our own eyes. The Holy Spirit tells us all the same thing, and we each hear the parts we like.

I’m a PCA Presbyterian and I have some friends who are in the apostate PCUSA. They do not follow the bible, or the Confession, or even the basics of Reformed theology. They just follow culture. Whatever culture wants, their church does in a foolish attempt to be “relevant”.

The problem isn’t with organized church. The problem is with making sure you select the right organized church and being able to walk away when they go off the rails.

....”Maybe the organized church is not the future of “the church” - as in the body of Christ”....

The anti-Christ has plans for the organized church.....what we’re seeing is it be primed for that time.

It is thought the true church, the body of Christ, will eventually have to go underground...... catholics should be considering leaving the catholic church if they are Christians. Many won’t because it’s teachings keep them in bondage.
