Your analysis is sound. Thanks for your input.

Thats my point. Picking winners and losers by becoming de facto investing partners isnt the business of govt. The govt needs to get its fat fingers of the scales.
It might make sense if every government stopped helping their respective businesses, but to do it in isolation is nuts.

How much crap, excuse me, pork, has been added to Highway, Farm, and Disaster Relief Bills? Enough so that the funds available for Highways is now 0.

And how we should offset other countries doing so is via tariffs. There is a way to level the playing field without putting on a uniform.
The ex-im bank needs to stay dead.

I might watch that later, but Cruz has already lost all credibility on Trade when he promoted giving Obama fast track authority.
Cruz might be the best social conservative and an excellent lawyer, but he has no clue about trade and our trade policies is the #1 cause of our economic problems and high unemployment.
Trump gets it, Cruz doesn’t.

"The Ex-Im is guaranteed by us taxpayers! There is the issue. "The Ex-Im has earned 7 billion in the last 20 years. I think we can afford to keep guaranteeing it.
I'd much rather support the Ex-Im Bank and make money in the process, than to pay for even more people on unemployment.
