Time for an intervention with National Review as well:
Red State: “At one time National Review was a proudly conservative publication. No more.”
“Mark Steyn made the mistake of taking the side of Duck Dynasty patriarch, Phil Robertson, in the fascist assault carried out on him by the lobbying group for deviant sexual practices, GLAAD. This got the knickers of his editor, someone named Jason Lee Steorts, in a twist.”
http://www.redstate.com/2013/12/22/national-review-editor-mark-steyn-is-a-big-meany/
Town Hall: “in a column written by managing editor Jason Lee Steorts, National Review apparently decided they didn’t want social conservatives — the third and largest leg of Reagan’s famed three-legged stool — to read their stuff anymore when they full-throated embraced the Rainbow Jihad.”
“And just like that a legacy marked by staring down Marxists both foreign and domestic is no more. National Review has been surrendered to America’s Cultural Marxists. So much for the legacy founded by the man who gave us God and Man at Yale.”
“That takes some serious selling out.”
This isnt totally out of left field, though. Steorts began showing his true colors back in 2013 when he ran Mark Steyn arguably one of the most courageous and entertaining conservatives of the last decade out of National Review for daring to call the agenda of the Rainbow Jihad into question.
That agenda was still in its How is my gay marriage going to affect your life? stage, but Steyn saw through the scam and said as much in his typically biting yet congenial way. Less than two years later we know Steyn to be a prophet, as businesses great and small are now forced to genuflect at the altar of homosexual hubris and pagan courts gone wild.
Rush Limbaugh: National Review used to, indisputably, it was the voice of conservatism Now, its not so much that, as it is the voice of Republicanism .

All true,NRO is far from conservative, but Jonah is not exactly establishment either.
NONE OF WHICH is the point. The fact that Trump fans cannot, or will not, refute a single damned word, and instead focus on National Review....does indeed prove the very point of the article...which you are afraid to read and confront.
It’s childish to be consumed with people and personalities and avoid real questions.
Rush is right but I also considered Rush to be a Republican cheerleader so what's new?
NR’s main reporter for awhile was Robert Costa. He then moved on to the Washington Post where he acts as a hack for the Democrat Party. No surprise either that he worked for NR or that he now works for the WAPO.
great post
Even some of their other chief writers like Charles Cooke, who is a huge pro-gun guy, have no problem with homo marriage. Ditto for Williamson who is the big rising star at the mag. And they tolerated Steyn, maybe the biggest star in the conservative firmament, forced out of the mag by some homosexual dweeb like Jason Steorts. That by itself is a gross miscarriage of justice.
It seems many straight talkers have been forced out of the mag....John Derbyshire, Ann Coulter, and recently Mark Steyn. I think Williamson and Goldberg better watch themselves before they're kicked out by the homosexual clique that seems to running things there.
Messenger well and truly shot. Nice work.
You argument is stupid.
I don’t think there are many fans of National Review here. Attacks on credibility are appropriate when when someone is testifying to something they personally witnessed - then character, honesty, bias, etc. comes into play.
But 2 + 2 still equals 4, even if a serial killer or National Review says it.
And decades worth of publicly available evidence shows that Trump is a liar, a Statist and a conman, period - and it doesn’t really matter who says it.
Neither Red State nor NRO are that great. I did bother to read Red State once because for some reason Dana Loesch reposts her articles from her website there. These days just head on over to her website.
