Weiner Bites Bernie: Mr. Abedin Flashes Hillary Plan to Delegitimize Sanders

Anthony Weiner aka Carlos Danger aka Mr. Abedin has a well deserved reputation for, uh, flashing. However, his most significant flash of all came in the form of a Business Insider op-ed in which the husband of Hillary Clinton's closest personal aide, Huma Abedin, flashed their campaign plan to deligitimize the candidacy of Bernie Sanders for the Democrat presidential nomination and, if necessary, his delegates at the convention. 

Your humble correspondent has suspected for weeks that the Hillary campaign would ultimately try to toss out many if not most of the Sanders delegates at the Democrat convention next year due to the fact that Sanders is a Socialist and is not registered as a Democrat. Weiner pretty much confirms this suspicion in his latest flash from deep within the recesses of the Hillary campaign:

Hillary may very well doing what she did in 08 and alienating key voters if she tries some dirty pool.

I saw the same strategy a couple of weeks ago also. It went on and blathered about him caucusing with the D’s but basically they’d try to derail him with the I thing.

When Obama was in the Senate, his voting record was to the left of Bernie. Which should have told us what we needed to know about both of them. It's not Bernie who has moved to the Democrats, its the Dems who have moved to him. Hillary is right there with Bernie, Bernie is just honest about it.

He'll register if he has to. Nice try, Hillary.

I suspect BS is a stalking horse candidate. He's there, with Hillary's blessing, to soak up all the anti-Hillary activity. She doesn't want a repeat of '08, when an unknown candidate knocked her out of the race.

He'll be the "other" Dem candidate at debate, because it wouldn't look good for Hillary to run unopposed. If by chance there's another, (Webb?) Bernie's job is to split the anti-Hillary vote at the convention.

After the Dem convention, Sanders will collect a big pile of money and retire from politics.
