They have enough money at their foundation to set up a charitable trust for a designee that would inure to the benefit of that designee’s heirs and their descendants. It could be done offshore w/o much scrutiny.

Nope, I don’t believe it works that way. SS protects only party nominees and others in special situations, such as Mr. Obama, due to his race, ordered by then president Bush. Mr. Trump will receive no government protection until, and if, he gains the Republican nomination.

I agree. I think Trump and Cruz ought to just announce a third (Second) party run and be done with it. They would win in a Landslide. People are so fed up with the crap.
Trump and Cruz could lead a Revolution to turn this country around. Assess their talents individually and then combine what they each bring to the table. This is what America is hungry for.
