Well, now that the Army is tasked to cut 40,000 out of the force, and thousands of civilians, it’s going to get a lot harder for the foreseeable future too.

Still, if that many can’t even enlist in a volunteer army, we are in for a world of trouble regardless.

North Dakota has one of the oldest populations in the US.

The retired generals at the press conference wouldn’t be able to re-join the military either.

There are 100s of medical conditions that will bar you from joining the military.

“... they are too fat, too dumb or either a criminal or drug user.”

How dumb is too dumb for the military? I’m asking a serious question. Do they test your IQ?

My Dad had a childhood friend who lost an eye in an accident. Like Dad, this friend was drafted to fight in World War II. He tried to get out of serving, telling the sergeant about his lost eye. The sergeant pointed to the friend’s real eye and artificial eye and said, “I see 2 eyes. Son, you’re in.”

During World War II, I suppose the military wasn’t all that picky.

Thanks for posting. Anyone really thing that 73% of 17-24 year olds are ineligible...chiefly because of obesity?

When did they weigh them all?

...North Dakotan's...

A headline written by a North Dakotan.

Driving around North Dakota, you will see signs outside houses:

Usually, The Smith's. Rarely, The Smiths, and never The Smiths'.

You will never see: The Joneses, or The Joneses', but you will see: The Jone's.

North Dakotans think their government schools are great. They stink.
