Off the top of my head, Forrest disbanded the Klan when he saw it was getting too radical. It reformed over a decade after he died. Somehow he’s responsible for that part.

Everyone but racist liberals know that NBF disbanded the KK he started. It was later restarted without his approval or input and he denounced it and its goals.

Interesting, but confusing as to where it was going.

In today’s world, ignorance trumps historical fact. Ignorance is indeed strength.

People get their history from movies and TV, in this case “Forrest Gump.”

Oh, they know alright. They just don't care. True, true. One of the benefits of working toward the perfect liberal society is that someone else is always to blame for your failure. That is their truth.

They need an Emanuel Goldstein.

Not true. Schools are too busy teaching lgbt history to bother teaching this.

Well if all of the GOP were to jump on the anti-Stars & Bars bandwagon Then Hillary could come out next year and announce that the South's Heritage should not be tarred & feathered by the Republicans just because of one crazy person ( same thing they say about Islam when there is a jihad massacre ) Then she makes big in roads in the GOP South and loses nothing in the North. Remember the Alinski trained people care for nothing but power and will use anything no matter how twisted to archive it.

Thank you all for the heads up. Many posters have asked me both privately and publicly to comment on the movement to suppress Confederate symbols, especially the Confederate flag, and even the grave site of Nathan Bedford Forrest. I have done so in this
reply which in turn refers to my about page to which I invite interested readers.

Who would ever thought that in today’s world the act of some stupid ass skin head racist could start such an uprising against historic symbols? The media is helping push this to the hilt as they rise the hatred in the politically correct dumb asses. Kind of like “the shot heard round the world”.
