Two people were killed and seven others wounded in shootings on the West and South sides of Chicago from Tuesday through early Wednesday, police said.
A 25-year-old man was found shot several times on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of West Huron Street around 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department.
