Hillary Clinton, the front-running presidential candidate who doesn't do interviews, finally sat down with CNN on Tuesday and said, "People should and do trust me."

New York Times columnist Bill Safire must be rolling in his grave. A 1996 essay of his, "Blizzard of Lies," began, "Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our first lady — a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation — is a congenital liar."
