The concept sounds ridiculous, but the documentary comes from Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas. He covered the 2007 Virginia Tech shootings, so he presumably knows how to package difficult subject matter. This is MTV, but there’s no better time for a discussion on race than right now.
Will these young white people learn from their experiences during filming? Vargas will force them “to internalize what they’ve done in America.” We’ll find out when White People premiers on MTV on July 22.

Sounds ridiculous? Sounds ridiculous? Like these dumbasses need any more guilt piled on. I say we just erase all of this history crap and viola. Nobody ever did anything wrong. Ever. Eloi just waiting for the bells to ring so the can join the morlocks for a little din-din. We are getting stupider and stupider by the minute. If and when you get a job, just find someone who you've supposedly harmed and just turn it over. That ought to make you feel better.

So some cockroach with a camera went out and found a few low-intelligence guilty White liberal types and made them look stupid. And Murray Rothstein’s minions couldn’t wait to get it on the air.
Yet if some intelligent Whites (i.e. conservatives) were found, you can bet the film of those wound up on the MTV cutting room floor since they didn’t get the desired outcome.
