I’m guessing it’s easy to tell the point when the Seattle Times “reporters” and “editors” began smoking the dope.

It’s interesting to see how they make clear that they are promoting pot and mocking all opposition to it.

The Seattle Times, and their political agenda.

Can I ask a stupid question? Is the left concerned about second hand smoke from marijuana? I know they pushed smoking bans due to concern about second hand smoke. But haven’t heard anyone express concern about open marijuana smoking and second hand smoke from pot. Just wondering g.

hippies wandering around in a “sea of mud, sickness and drugs,” as Woodstock was described in a 1969 story

The sickly sweet smell of marijuana everywhere.

Can I guess that’s in the ‘60s?

Or at least, its immediate aftermath in the ‘70s....

Exactly.

The crucial question is how much does each cigarette affect anyone?

Tobacco - long-term effects for smoker and “neighbors”

Marijuana - immediate effects for smoker and “neighbors”

Not aware of any concerns from the left about second hand smoke but I have heard a lot of people claim the reason they failed a UA was they were at a party where it was being smoked and they got a contact high.

The Seattle Times, and their political agenda.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. They are right on this. The only opposition comes from ignorant, uninformed propagandist statist thugs. Banning guns won't work! Ban weed! For crying out loud, that's even WORSE than libturd hypocrisy.

The reason for prohibition is right there in the subtitles...”Mexicans”. Those dirty Mexicans were smoking it and forcing it down the throats of average Americans, turning THEM into dirty Mexicans too!!! It must be banned!!!

At the bottom of the article is their interactive timeline. The very last page there has the article posted in it’s entirety. It was interesting to note that the government set up a commission to look into the purported effects of insanity and violent reactions and basically concluded they where unfounded and saw no reason to prohibit its use.
