The victim of a harrowing gunpoint robbery in Mississippi on Saturday grabbed a gun out of his truck and opened fire, killing one robber and sending the other fleeing.
Jackson Police said the victim turned the tables on a pair of robbers after he was robbed of his wallet and forced to drive to an ATM to get money, Mississippi News Now reported.

DID HE HAVE HIS TRIGGER-GUARD ON????
Very, very old story. It was discussed a lot on FR back in May.
The victim, by the way, was a Jewish doctor who was loading his pick-up truck with weapons and associated paraphernalia, on his way to a shooting match.
To add to the irony, the perp who got away (later caught) was a “correctional officer” at a local prison!
Good question. One other relevant question... did his truck display a Confederate Flag?
Pillar of society, right there.
MSM headline:
More white on black violence.
Thanks for a ‘feel good’ post...
It would appear that the good doctor provided the much needed tratment
It only took one brave, smart and determined mother to bring the school back to it’s proper place. They think they own the children and make all the most important decisions for them (Hillary’s village) that are actually in the parent’s realm of care and responsibility.
Had the school had power over my youngest son, they would have drugged him with Ritalin when we expressed concern that although he went to school able to read, he did not seem to be progressing in reading.
When I had him tested privately, the guy reported the kid had a high IQ, was alert and all that from a battery of testing. He suggested that my son had not been taught grade level material which was what I was observing from home. The tester’s recommendation: Get him out of that school fast. He was seeing a lot of this with young boys and alarmed about the drugging.
I home schooled him and he went through two grade levels in one year. He actually thought he was stupid or disabled from the way the teachers talked to him and he thought I was mean because I made him do so much work - right.
It’s rare when a child actually realizes when a parent does something hard but good for him but when my son was in college, he thanked me for taking control of him from the school and told me I changed his life. I about fell out of my chair.
