A Maryland State Police (MSP) trooper was charged with first degree sexual offense and a handgun charge, according to Prince Georges County Police Department (PGPD).
Brian Tucker, 43, an 18 year veteran with MSP's Automobile Safety Enforcement Division, was arrested around 2 a.m. early Monday morning in the area of Rochell Avenue and Hazelwood Drive, according to police. A PGPD officer noticed an SUV in a cul-de-sac in a commercial area and decided to investigate. He discovered Tucker and the victim outside of the vehicle, standing near the passenger side. The female victim told the officer that Tucker had a gun. Tucker then told the officer that he was a Maryland State Police trooper.
An investigation revealed that Tucker and the female victim agreed to engage in a sex act in exchange for payment, according to police. The victim said that during that encounter, Tucker pointed a gun at her and forced her to engage in another sex act against her will, according to police.
Tucker was off duty at the time of the offense and the handgun in question was not the troopers duty weapon, according to police.
MSP released a statement saying Tucker had been suspended without pay as a result of the arrest and charges.

This doesn’t make it any less serious. Rape is rape. But I guess we should ask Whoopi if it was rape rape.
Or even rape rape rape.
Cop breaks law? Law will deal with it. Good.
Someone want to tell me just HOW *we* would be dealt with in this situation? Let go on our own recognizance? Slap on the wrist until ‘trial’?
And they wonder why they are held to such low esteem
