DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Steven Rebenstorf has numerous flags flying atop his canopy tent inside Daytona International Speedway.
The Confederate flag is front and center.
It's been like that for years. And the 57-year-old Rebenstorf has no plans to take it down — not even if NASCAR decides to ban the embattled flag from its racetracks.
"They'd have to come and get it," Rebenstorf said Saturday, pointing out that his American flag purposely flies a few inches higher than the rest.

Write and tell them what you think of their PC “actions,” I did. They need to know that their actions will affect their business negatively. But it’s like everything else today, NASCAR has been taken over by “businessmen a$$holes” to whom everything revolves around a buck. Long gone are the “racer” who started it all because they loved cars. At Sonoma, they’ve “shortened” the track. Why? To have more cars passing TV cameras per unit of time because it represents sponsor revenue.

Most of them would be in the infield. Generally people don’t use signs, flags, etc. in the stands as it blocks the view of others.
I turned it on after the soccer game ( I hate soccer, but tonight was fun) and it was already dark, and in a rain delay, so you couldn’t see the infield on camera.

What should have been done is to boycott the race entirely. 1 or 2 races would have done it.
