SABANETA, Dominican Republic For decades, the people of Barrio Cementerio, a neighborhood divided evenly between Dominicans and Haitians, have shared a peaceful coexistence. Proximity smothered prejudice: Working side by side and raising families together helped keep tensions in check.
That is changing now. A government plan that could deport tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people of Haitian descent from the Dominican Republic has started to tear at the unity that once bound this place, forcing residents to pick a side.

Haiti needs to do three things:
(1) Embrace their French culture and heritage.
(2) Formulate a strong central government based on the rule of law and free elections.
(3) Encourage foreign investment (and tourism) with a low flat income tax.
If only that were true. Obama would likely take the Haitians expelled by the DR if given half a chance.
Haiti also literally made a pact with Satan in their fight for freedom from France, binding themselves to him if he would help them defeat the French.
He did. And they are bound. It is one of the most demonically oppressed people on the planet (the poorest country in western hemisphere). It shares the same island as DR, but the difference between the two countries could not be more stark. It wasn’t just that they rejected the culture of France - they literally made a deal with the devil that has bound them ever since. Not so bound, the DR thrives.
And yes, the demons came from Africa, where they still thrive.
As evil as US slavery was, it led our blacks to embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ and set them free from their demonic and tribal past (mostly), and while far from pure, the church is still strong in most black communities - as witnessed in Charleston.........
