Game On: Trump Responds to Jeb
Breitbart ^ | Juy 4, 2015 | Breitbart

Posted on 07/04/2015 4:05:35 PM PDT by Red Steel

Billionaire GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump provided a statement to Breitbart News regarding Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush’s attacks on his immigration stance, reiterating his support for powerful border security and an immigration policy that serves American interests.

“Mr. Trump is concerned about the 90 million Americans that are outside our workforce, a Trump adviser told Breitbart News. “Jeb Bush wants to import more low-skilled, unemployed foreigners who will further drive down wages for the middle class.”

Read Trump’s statement below:

I am very proud to be fighting for a strong and secure border. This is a very important issue, which all the other candidates would have ignored had I not started this important discussion. ...

As everybody knows, I never said that all Mexicans crossing the border are rapists. Jeb is mischaracterizing my statements only to inflame. As seen with the tragic and unnecessary death of Kathryn Steinle this past week in San Francisco at the hands of an illegal immigrant who was previously deported five times, our unsecured border is a national security threat.

Trump is no idiot. He can run multiple businesses successfully and is not afraid of the press. I like him. The press and the libs are scared to death of him.

The best, the most effective, and the cheapest way to solve illegals problem would be to pass a law which requires 1 year mandatory prison for each illegal employed, to the CEO of any outfit, profit or non-profit.

If such a law was passed, the wall would become unnecessary. The illegals can not dig a tunnel under the law. And those who overstay their visa (about half of the illegals) come through airports. After the employed illegals have self-deported, we can deal with the underground economy of illegals easier, because only less than 10% illegals will remain in the country.

It hardly matters as these are not real debates and there will be many candidates on stage.

I don't see any downside to simply acknowledging when someone is right. Regardless of who it is.

What the media calls it is as predictable as the sunrise, so who cares.

Besides, republican primary voters are sick to death of calculating politicians afraid of their own shadow.

At least Trump brought this issue into the spotlight and is drilling down to the obvious as yet unspoken (in the mainstream) issues. I’m not sure anyone but Trump in his pomposity could have daylighted the issue to this extent. Trump also connects to the LIVs as they know him from the apprentice. Kudos to Trump.

Indeed - and no fines either, as that is just considered a cost of doing business.

Oh yeah, even if only for 30 days en toto, put 'em in with the general population - no "white collar" prisons. Let 'em get up close and personal.

It would be a welcome change from the current situation, where they fight the law and they win.

If GOPe (Romney, Rubio, Jeb) is going after the Donald, he’s a threat.

“If Cruz continues to allow himself to be allied with that pompous idiot, he’s making a huge mistake....huge.”

In other words, he should glide into the safe harbor provided by Jeb!, Rubio, and Romney.

“I cannot believe they stepped in their own poop. Usually Rats are good at this but...then again they are spineless RINO’s.”

They as counting on the number, velocity, and loudness of the attack to create some kind of frenzy that will stop Trump; a pile-on as per the Confederate flag debacle.

I prefer a well groomed polished statesmen type with a smooth schtick...Ivy league demeanor who has a history of respect for their personal interest and investors. Someone who knows who butters their bread.

Well, if nothing else Trump and Cruz are providing the means by which some definition is evident between the field of candidates by forcing the issue.... we now know exactly where some of these weak candidates stand and that’s a big plus. Helps us all cut to the chase.

Yup; Levis, work boots, and a long sleeved shirt.
The health nuts need to get off their asses and do an honest days heavy labor.
Work on my farm 7 days a week and can walk, hike, and haul more than my son who is at least twice my size.
Put all those 30 somethings to shame when we go bird hunting in the fall.
Just a youngster at 65, but have managed to retain every bad habit I developed as a kid.

= = = = = = = =
Between my Jr and Sr year of HS a buddy of mine lived on a farm and they ‘invited’ the football team over to help bring in the hay. Naturally they told us that it would be good ‘exercise’ and help us get in shape oh yes, the pay would be a hearty breakfast and a bigger lunch.
Most of us showed up (I was 16 and the farmer would have gotten arrested today - but my ‘real’ job was setting pins in the local bowling alley). Anyhoo, they had a couple of hands around and they had the flannel shirt buttoned at the neck and sleeves down, buttoned.
‘We’ figured they must have been nuts and started to take off our shirts...the kid that grew up on the farm convinced us that it wasn’t a good idea and somehow kept the shirts on and in T shirts...

I swear that I am still picking nettles that had ‘sweated’ themselves in........And I still ‘sport’ the ‘ditch diggers tan and am a true redneck - even though from upstate NY.

People use the term redneck as derogatory but it really signifies the people who actually WORK by doing manual and physical labor and contrary to popular opinion a lot of rednecks are actually more intelligent than the self important intelligent.

Clearwater, Fl is home to many illegal Mexican aliens. South of there are mostly Vietnamese families who immigrated legally.

America is a de facto sanctuary country and has been for many decades. It’s why the so called non-sanctuary cities are completely over run with illegals too. This is not some covert secret.
