No child of 3 or 4 “knows” it is a sex opposite of it’s genetic signature or physical signs of that sex. The possibility of that is a minute percentile— infinitesimal that they would actually be a chimera.
This is parental self indulgence on a scale as to be child abuse of their own child. These people are insane.

It's as if they wanted a girl and got a boy... so we'll just CHANGE his gender.

Munchhausen by Proxy and all the over the top publicity and hysteria that the Bruce Jenner controversy has create will bring more of these psycho parents out of the wood work. I am sure that mom has been planting suggestions into this little boys mind for some time. The power of suggestion is very strong especially with a young child.
A few years ago, there was a story about a mother who’s little 5 year old boy wanted to dress up for Halloween as Daphne of Scoobie Doo. This little boy loved the Scoobie Doo cartoons and had dressed up as various characters from the shows in previous Halloweens. That year he told his mother that he wanted to be Daphne, his mother asked if he was sure, he said yes. So she sent away for a Daphne costume, when it arrived the boy said that he was not sure that he still wanted to go as Daphne. His mother insisted that he wear the costume that she had bought.
When the boy showed up for school, there was a group of mothers who gave each other looks when they saw the little boy dressed as Daphne. This made the little boys mother very mad, so mad that she just had to tell everybody about it on facebook.
She did a very large page on this with the title “My Five Year Old Son is Gay”. The story had a picture of the little boy with the Daphne custom on. She explained the whole story including her encounter with the other mothers. Later in the story she said of course my son is not gay but if he were gay, I would love him just as much. This story went viral and she even was invited on to one of the national morning shows to tell her story.
What a narcissist drama queen. She was so angry with the other women that she had to tell the whole world about this little inconsequential incident just as children do when they have a fight with someone so they have to turn all the other kids against their enemy of the moment. In wanting to get revenge on the other women and getting in the spotlight as the SJW (Social Justice Warrior) of the moment, she made her little son the target of possible bullying and teasing as well as making him the enemy of the other women’s children.
It seems that lots of people today want to be stars. Hollywood and the internet has made vanity and playing celebrity widespread. Maybe the mother of Jack or “Jackie” wanted her own Kardashian series.
