It’ll be interesting to see church membership numbers from them after a year (assuming they do record this). You have “cafeteria Christians” in every denomination, but there have to be some members there with common sense that decide to put their tithe someplace else.

ASA ( average Sunday attendance) for TEC is declining every year, as traditional leaning parishioners die off. Many are disgusted with TEC, but it's hard to walk away after decades..so they stay, but cut back on giving..

Within a decade, 50% of current TEC parishes will close...those of us who remember how THEY said, when TEC ordained an openly gay bishop..how it would "Grow" the church..well, the numbers tell a different story..

BTW..it's just about 4 years since our dear FRiend "sionnsar" passed.

I agree. The true believers will go looking for a Christian church and gays will flock to this one.

They’ll be replacing the cross with a phallic symbol.

I don’t see it affecting their membership. The Boy Scouts were not impacted that much by their perfidy.
