Good point. Roman Catholicism is the major religion, but all of the religions are government-controlled and unlikely to be encouraged in the first place.
Emotional fear is the source of these women feeling a great comfort, in the control of islam. Much like children who are subjected to socialist fascism, they grow older and crave the control/safety of no decisions against security. They have never known individual freedom. They have never seen it in their parents, grandparents- or in their culture. They are perfect sheep.
