John Boehner is blocking the investigation because he knew about the covert OP. It is also why Congressman Rogers from Michigan white washed his report. He led the Committee that most likely was informed of the Op before hand.
Boehner is the Third in the Chain of Succession. Yeah Barry filled him in. That is why he keeps carrying his water.
Boehner doesn’t want the public to know he okayed the op.

They wouldn’t be lying and covering up if there wasn’t something that stinks so bad they knew they had to lie and cover it up.
My guess is that they were providing arms to the very group(s) that attacked the compound. They were duped and knew it would look bad so they decided to come up with a lie to cover up their own responsibility in this.
