I don’t agree with Rand Paul on hardly anything, but he would certainly eclipse Walker in that area, and it would be very hard to say that Walker would cut big government spending more than Cruz would.
BTW, big gov’t isn’t being involved with the stadium issue in Wisconsin?
Is it only the investors who are going to be putting money up for the proposed stadium?
Stadium has already been built and the taxpayers are paying for it.
Are you talking about the proposed new arena? Last I heard was that the taxpayers will be footing the bill for a portion of that as well to the tune of $250 million (about half).
The funding proposal has passed in the state assembly but not in the senate yet.
I do not believe that taxpayers should be funding sport’s arenas. Others believe that it brings more $$ into the state (which the taxpayers will never see) and we can’t afford to lose the sport’s teams.
