"Are we really still "one nation under God, indivisible"?"

We are not, as is the plan of the world's greatest divider, Obama. Maybe like with the Martians in War of the Worlds, the final retribution will be disease spread by the lifestyle choices.

Are we really still "one nation under God, indivisible"?

I'm not sure about "indivisible," this morning I would be tempted to vote for another try at secession if that choice was on a ballot. But of course that won't happen, and even in my emotion-driven sour state of mind this dark and gloomy morning I have to acknowledge that it's a good thing that we can't give secession a 2nd try.

The other side tells us that we'll got over it, and a generation from now heterosexual marriage will be as out of favor as segregation was a generation after Orval Faubus blocked the steps of a school in Little Rock over a half century ago. If that's true, given my advanced age I won't be here to see it. But one critically important difference in those 2 is that God favored legal and social equality of races back then, but if He favors homosexual perversion now He must have decided that the 2-legged organisms He created have evolved one more long step forward, and that what He wrote in my King James bible is now as obsolete as Dad's '54 Buick that I was driving when Governor Faubus blocked those doors. I don't advocate turning the calendar back to the 1950's legal and cultural status of either back Americans or homosexuals, but there is one very, very big difference in the two groups. Having been born with black skin isn't a sin against God's Word or His laws of nature, but choosing a homosexual lifestyle is not an inborn trait, it's forbidden by God and is a mortal sin according to multiple passages of Holy Scripture. Furthermore, His wrath for those who choose that forbidden lifestyle was clearly shown by His destruction of Sodom's homosexual population and only righteous Lot and his family saved. I don't expect to see fire and brimstone fall on the US, although that's not impossible, but a fall from our current military and financial standing in the world isn't just possible, it's happening every day that Obama's reign of terror pushes, not leads, us farther down that path to eventual 3nd or even 4th rate ignominy.

Some days, and this is starting out to be one, I'm quite content in knowing that my days on this ball of dirt are, or soon will be, drawing to a close and an incomparably better world awaits my imminent arrival.
