Gov. Nikki Haley on 2016: A fan of Bush, other governors
Washington Post ^ | February 22, 2015 | Philip Rucker

Back in 2010, when the governor of South Carolina was merely "Nikki Who?," running behind in a four-person Republican primary with her top supporter mired in scandal, Jeb Bush gave her some advice. (SNIP) In January, she said, Romney called her to tell her he was thinking about a run in 2016 as well. But before they could schedule a meeting to discuss it further, he announced he would not run. "I’m still heartbroken that he didn’t win last time," Haley said. "Having said that, it’s a new year, it’s a new day, it’s a new time. We’ve gone through a lot. I think he read the writing on the wall. I think he will forever be to me and a lot of people what could have been, but I think that there’s a place for him to now help that next person and to move it forward."

“At some point, D.C. needs to actually do something, say something,” said Haley, who also did not offer an opinion on details such as a path to citizenship. “It is causing a divide across this country, the longer they put off making a decision.”

Christie and Haley both indicated that they would not hesitate to criticize Capitol Hill Republicans if criticism is merited.

“I think there are no saints in Washington right now,” Haley said. “Republicans and Democrats have royally screwed this up.”

For that reason, Haley said the next Republican presidential standard-bearer should come from the ranks of the governors, not Congress."

Nikki Hernandez and Trey Gomez are weak on immigration.

“Gov. Nikki Haley on 2016: A fan of Bush, other governors”

Another headline spin by the Compost. Everybody - read the article!

The headline makes it sound she’s backing Bush, when in fact...

“Haley said she has no plans yet to back any candidate. “I think what I’ll do is watch,” she said.

Don’t fall for the propaganda.

“South Carolina won’t automatically go to Senator Graham just because he’s from South Carolina,” the Governor said.

Full-term governor’s rationale for electing another full-term governor. They gets things done. That’s the problem right there.

““South Carolina won’t automatically go to Senator Graham just because he’s from South Carolina,” the Governor said.”

But I will bet you that Graham’s “job” is to whore up the primary to keep Mexi-Booshe from loosing to someone else.
