Bloomberg Politics managing editor Mark Halperin apologized to his Republican sources Monday after it was revealed that MIT economist Jonathan Gruber had a much bigger role in shaping Obamacare than the White House had previously admitted to.
I owe all my Republican sources an apology because they kept telling me he was hugely involved, and the White House played it down. Halperin told Morning Joe cohost Joe Scarborough on Monday, They were right, the Republicans were right.
When asked by Scarborough if he thought the White House had lied about Grubers Obamacare role, Halperin said that he thought they were not fully forthcoming.
None of the other panelistsformer DNC chairman Howard Dean or former Rep. Harold Ford, Jr. (D-TN)would say that the White House had lied either, but liberal co-host Mika Brzezinski admitted that it certainly appears they did.
The liberal media bought the White House spin on Gruber, but now they are faced with the fact that they have been lied to once again. The administration that promised transparency has only delivered lies and half-truths for the past six-plus years.
RE: MIT Economist Jonathan Gruber Outed
For a moment I thought Gruber declared himself to be homosexual publicly ...
The dirty little secret is that NO ONE WHO SUPPORTS OBAMA CARES THAT HE LIES. He lies, he lies, he lies, and he lies again.........and they still support him. Hypocrisy, the name is DEMOCRAT!
The cows done left the barn years ago.
Thanks Marc, big help. The bill of goods has been sold and the sales receipt torched by the Supreme Court. Now that we’re stuck with the thing you have regrets. Swell.
Gruber is gay? Wouldn’t surprise me.
Gruber’s intentions were known, the false gods in black dresses were tyrannical in their statement.
Stalinists lie. ALWAYS
