We are told a massive bill must be passed, all the business lobbyists and leaders tell how grand it will be, but that it must be rushed through before the voters spoil the plan. As with Obamacare and the Gang of Eight, the politicians meet with the consultants to craft the talking points—not based on what the bill actually does, but what they hope people will believe it does. And when ordinary Americans who never asked for the plan, who don’t want the plan, who want no part of the plan, resist, they are scorned, mocked, and heaped with condescension.

Sadly, Jeff Sessions is the ONLY one in Washington that I trust to do the right thing!!
I think people will, but the problem is that the people are divided, fighting amongst themselves, and disorganized. I think the elites figure that various lone wolves will go off, giving plenty of warning to clamp down on the rest.
If we had our stuff together as Americans, if we were on good terms and worked together with diverse groups of fellow AMERICANS and compared notes, strategies and cooperated where our interests coincide, we’d scare the pee out of our would be overlords!
See as it stands, if everyone waited until we are hip deep, our options would be limited to very bad choices only.
Tell you what though, the fact that the Conservatives in the House were on the same page as the Congressional Black Caucus on this TPA thing made em panic!
