Just erase history. I’m sure nothing bad will come from forgetting it.
I saw a great two-panel Far-Side-Style cartoon recently. Two professers sitting at the bar, drinking. One goes, "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
The other goes, "Yeah, but those who DO learn from history are doomed to watch those who DON'T learn from history."
