I’m with US Grant. When he was asked, at Appomattox, how to treat the Confederate soldiers, he said, “as your countrymen.” I think this rule should apply to the great Indian warriors. Let’s have some military installations named after Tecumseh, Geronimo, Sitting Bull and Chief Joseph.
So, don’t name any sports teams after Indians, but name military posts after Indians?
I’m just waiting for some idiot liberal to start a movement to tear down the statues on Monument Avenue in Richmond, Virginia.
Beautiful statues of Robert E Lee, JEB Stuart, Stonewall Jackson, the Jefferson Davis memorial.
All gone if the liberal PC crowd has it’s way.
Maybe they’ll leave the Arthur Ashe statue?
