The screencap shows New Yorker editor David Remnick, on today's Morning Joe, raising his hand to proudly plead guilty to condescending to Donald Trump, whom he had just called a "comical blowhard" in regretting that he was "conceivably a player" in the presidential race.
Mika Brzezinski is no fan of The Donald on the issues, so give her extra credit for sticking up for his relevance to the race. Schooling Remnick, she said that Trump has the guts, which many lack, to "liquefy" the likes of George Stephanopoulos and others with one line. Mika was alluding to Joe Scarborough's statement to that effect from last week.

They pretend to hate each other. But that is only for public consumption. The D establishment and the R establishment really need each other.
They have a very powerful, convenient and self serving hold on the political process. The talking heads on both sides are given “temporary member status” allowing them access and thus a platform to promote themselves and their networks.
Donald Trump is an outsider. He is most definitely not part of the establishment. He is a powerful wild card in the deck, and he is making heads explode.
Great....let him serve a term as mayor or governor so we can see where he really stands. As far as I’m concerned it’s all an ego trip for him (or possibly worse.)

The way I feel at the moment about the political leaders of both parties, nothing The Donald does is too bad for them. They are an evil elite who are in the game for personal power, priviledge and wealth. No morals, no principles and no interest in anything but themselves.

The left politicians talk this way all the time. Why does the right always act so pc. We know it is not because that helps them win.
Would you like an example? Him talking to George Stephanopoulos. George Stephanopoulos asked him about Clinton. He just said why, who are you? How could you even talk to me about the Clintons? That, nobody has the guts by the way, nobody and there are people at this table who don’t have the guts to really talk about that. He does. -

Indeed. Closed club, no outsiders allowed to join in the "screw the working public" gang. Trump threatens the status quo because he has his own money and knows he won't win so there's no downside - where he'd actually have to "govern" -
