On what authority does a federal judge command a federal agency to reach into a foreign country, lay hands on a foreign national, and transport them to a different country?
From the article:
Cambria had asked the court to block Anas deportation while her latest appeal was pending. In its opposition to that request, the U.S. attorneys office told the court that, as of June 9, immigration officials had no plans to remove Ana and her daughter. She was then removed 10 days later at 9:55 a.m. Friday morning.
It appears that there was an appeal before a court and the US Attorney's office said there were no plans to deport the family but went ahead and did so anyway.
Personally, I think the US Attorney should be held in contempt of court until the family is back in the US.

Ana and her daughter were victims of domestic violence in Guatemala, Cambria said, and suffered psychological issues because of the
If they had been deported a year ago before the incarceration then none of this would even be an issue.
