I have said this before and I will say it again:

1.When I found out the new Pope was a Jesuit, my heart and stomach sank. I sense they are trouble, to put it mildly. Once the crème de la crème of the Intelligentsia of the Church, they have evolved.

2.The infallibility of the Pope lies ONLY IN CHURCH DOCTRINE.

3.We, in the Catholic Church, have witnessed many disgraceful, horrible times, including when we had two Popes.
But, what the Church teaches, the tenets of the religion, are what I truly believe. And sometimes, I have to recite the Apostles’ Creed to restore myself. It is getting harder and harder with Francis.
Yet, No Man is going to destroy my faith.

No they will just redefine what it means to be Catholic. Then what?

And if they don't swear allegiance they won't be able to buy or sell. One government and one religion all run by the same guy and his false prophet. Now the Catholic Church is working to establish both.

Same characters? How's that?? All of the characters who sold indulgences have been dead for 500 years.

Thanks to Luther ...otherwise Rome would still be selling them

I am catholic, not Catholic.

I am a part of the church, not The Church.

I dont believe worshiping our Creator and Father on any particular day of the week, indoors in man made “temple”, led by men in robes with wide collars, wearing pointy hats because thats exactly what Jesus was talking about in Matt 23, and Paul in Acts17-24, and taken with the descriptions of the veil being torn, and the earth shaking, and the rocks crying out when Jesus died and took my sins away,,,,,(?)

well

I think this guy is nuttier than my Christmas fruit cake.

If I didn’t have faith in SOMETHING, I would be miserable.

That is my point, no man will shake my faith (read the Apostles’ Creed), they can redefine it all they want.

But you’ll still claim Catholicism.

You appear to be a very patient person, let me pose a brief metaphor.
You and I, I am sure, love America. In the last six years this wonderful country has been ravaged. Are you less of an American. You would not call yourself something else.
Yes?

Poor analogy. While the Constitution is still in effect it is still controlling. The ravagers haven’t yet to call those not following or agreeing to their agenda sinners/criminals. When the hierarchy of the Catholic church changes what it means to be Catholic are you still Catholic? Despite what others have claimed here, Catholic teaching requires you to submit to the teaching to remain Catholic. So on this issue you say ‘they’re off base, this isn’t a faith thing’. Although the encyclical called denying AGW is immoral. At any rate if you don’t submit your intellect, how are you still Catholic?

Or else what???
I never heard of such a thing. Everything I believe as a Catholic is contained in The Apostles’ Creed. No more, no less. If someone adds to that I’m sorry, no go. If someone deletes anything...no go. I can not be clearer.
Sorry, don’t mean to sound cranky.

Never read your Catechism then. Oh boy.

BTW, I am not surprised, lots of things in the Catechism would make a confessor of the Apostle's Creed raise an eyebrow.

Look, xone, here is the way I feel. The Creed contains all the important beliefs going back to the beginning.

The catechism contains questions posed by whom? (men) and answered by MEN.
All things after the beginning are subject to the interpretation of MEN. I have faith in the basics. Thanks for trying to save me though.

Ever hear of evangelization?

Isn’t that what he is doing? Trying to bring people to believe in God?
