In all seriousness, don’t you think the right could learn something about their propensity to join forces against their common enemy? The rats are probably better at keeping the big picture in mind, and they’re using it to snuff us out.

In all seriousness, don’t you think the right could learn something about their propensity to join forces against their common enemy?...absolutely - I cringe every time I hear some conservative/Republican call another openly and gratuitously a "wacko-bird" or " traitor" or claim proudly that they didn't vote for so-and-so because he was only seventy-five percent conservative instead of being ninety-nine and forty-four one hundred percent pure.

I just watched a C-Span interview with Ted Cruz during which he was asked how he knew it was time to compromise when dealing with the opposition. He replied by recalling what Reagan had said when asked a similar question: "what do you do when you're offered only half a loaf?". "Take it," Reagan said, "and then go back for more". Too many conservatives stomp their feet and go out into the back yard to eat worms when they don't get the whole loaf instead of munching on the half loaf within their grasp - and the 'rats are eating our lunches because of it......
