China would be far better off if it just ushered it’s Islamic folks to the exit.

That element refuses to play nice.

Even infidels have a right to pursue peace on their soil.

Al Qaeda and IS are Chinese Communist allies.

For now, perhaps, they are allies of convenience. But there are limits. The Chinese are going to keep them out of China.

As allies they have no problem with them.

They are in China plenty of times meeting with them and their Pakistani and other allies.

China won’t tolerate terrorism and don’t spare anyone’s feelings combating it. So I doubt those groups will contest this too much.

They are allies in matters of external power politics, sure. The Chinese want to project power against India, and they want to project power to areas of natural resources, such as the MidEast and Africa. If not project power, at least have an understanding which allows economic benefit.

But, the Chinese will draw the line at agitation in the Western provinces where the Uighur live. The Chinese will not allow significant Muslim immigration, especially if they can identify Islamist influence.

Do you disagree?

They won’t tolerate any terrorism that seeks to undo Maoism, that is.

But what kind of terrorism are they expecting from Christians?
