A senior U.S. Air Force officer says Russian bombers increasing probes of skies near Europe pose a risk to commercial air safety.
Lt. Gen. Stephen Wilson said Friday that Russian bombers are not following international norms when flying near Britain, the Baltics or Scandinavia. He said Russian bombers that have approached European airspace as tensions have risen in the last year are not filing flight plans, using their transponders or communicating with air traffic controllers.

If this is a problem, why aren’t the ATC radars painting primary targets?
Surely, the US is not doing any stealth flying near China or Russia......
Heaven forbid that Obama declares a “red line” associated with these incidents. That might be an invitation to the Russians that is too delicious to ignore.
Firm up our defenses, the Russian fool is out of control.
Those Russian Pilots don’t want a Mid-Air anymore than the Civilian Pilots do.
They know where the other Aircraft are flying.
