Well, they’ll have to do better than Kasich. He’s done a decent job as Governor of Ohio (could hardly do worse than Ted Strickland). But he is about as colorful as a bowl of Farina and a glass of milk.
He has stopped the wheels from spinning off, I'll grant you that. He's a partner in (so far) very effective plans to prevent Cleveland from falling prey to racist chaos.
But for small towns, he's a disaster. The towns are starving while Medicaid was expanded by very questionable moves to circumvent the state legislature and all sorts of construction projects get funded.
I could see the deep pockets looking at Kasich. The dems had a seriously flawed candidate against him last election, and Kasich ran a skillful campaign exploiting every one of those weaknesses. That kind of smart campaign could work real well against hillary.
